I’m Francesca Fondevila Lucero—mother, guide, postpartum doula.

I create sacred, sensory postpartum experiences for women. Rooted in ancestral traditions, shaped by personal initiation, and elevated by a lifelong devotion to beauty, ceremony, and care.

The postpartum window opens with birth, but it never fully closes.
While you carry new life into this world, a new version of you is also born. Welcome, Mother. This is where your becoming is honored.

The Sacred Window

The Culture We Inherit

In modern America, there are no formal rites to mark the postpartum passage. No sacred pause. No ceremonial acknowledgment of the woman who has just crossed the threshold into motherhood.

Instead, we are offered ideals like productivity, independence, and perfection. We’re encouraged to bounce back, keep moving, smile through the unraveling. But these values—though prized—do not serve the postpartum body, or the postpartum soul.

I know this intimately. My own transition into motherhood was marked by white-knuckle ambition. I believed I could do it all. I pushed when I should have surrendered. I performed when I should have been held.

What I offer now is what I needed then: a reclamation of the sacred. A postpartum experience that is beautiful, elevated, and rooted in reverence. One that meets you where you are and leaves you feeling nourished, witnessed, and whole.

When a mother is tended to—body and soul—she becomes a wellspring. Her nourishment ripples outward: to her baby, her family, her lineage. These rituals, once lost, are remembered. And you become the living example your child will one day follow.

To Be Held

Every new mother deserves to be held.
The body needs tending.
The mind needs softening.
The spirit needs to land.

Across cultures and time, postpartum traditions have always shared one truth: female-to-female care is essential. This is where healing happens.

My work is to bring that care into your home—not just as support, but as sanctuary. I create space for deep transformation. I bring softness, safety, and beauty. Because postpartum healing is not only physical—it is atmospheric.

Plants and beauty help ground us. They invite the mind to soften, to wander, to experience a bit of magic. Being amongst beautiful flowers, dripping with petals and wonderful scents, carries us when we are unable to carry ourselves.

This is not decoration. This is medicine. And it matters.

The Ceremony of Becoming

Ceremony helps us mark what cannot be said in words. It holds the invisible. It gives shape to transformation.

In the sacred window after birth, ceremony becomes a threshold: a way to honor what was, and bless what is arriving.

The rituals I offer are energetic and elemental. They are rooted in warmth, touch, scent, intention. They bring the mother back into her body—not just to recover, but to reclaim.

Together, we release the maiden.
We welcome the mother.

In a world that rushes us past life’s most profound transitions, this work is a return. A return to the rhythms of our ancestors. To the wisdom in the quiet. To the healing in the pause. To the strength found only in stillness.

This is the work beneath the work.
This is where the soul lands.
